The 2020 North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association International will be held at the The Westin San Diego Gas Lamp Quarter Hotel in San Diego, CA.

We have negotiated a special rate of $229 (plus applicable taxes) for a double-occupancy room. Please book the conference hotel through the NARSC website.  In this way NARSC will get credit for your booking. Please note that the room rate does not include applicable taxes and the hotel destination fee. The destination fee is usually $50, but NARSC has negotiated a reduced destination fee of $20. This fee will give you access to complimentary WiFi in your room and the hotel lobby, a daily $10 Food & Beverage Voucher, and access to Tangent Office Space and Amenities.

Please note that if you decide to not stay at the conference hotel, you must pay a registration surcharge. Also, please note that the student rate is only available to students. All non-students (including post-doctoral researchers) should book a room at the regular rate.

A block of rooms have been reserved at the Hyatt Regencyin Bethesda, MD for the nights of November 11-16, 2014 at the rate of $199/night for a single or a double (plus applicable taxes of 13%).The following is a link to the Hyatt Regency Bethesda reservation page. The cut-off date for making room reservations at the discounted rate is October 12, 2014. When you reserve your room, please mention the “North American Regional Science Council” to get the discounted room rate. The special group rate is available three days pre and post the meeting conference meeting dates (based on availability). Guests registered at the Hyatt Regency, Bethesda will enjoy complementary internet in their guest room.

NARSC Surcharge for Participants Not Staying at the Conference Hotel

Note that attendees who do not register for an overnight stay at the conference venue, the Grand Hyatt, incur an additional conference registration surcharge of $150.
