Abstract/Session Submission

San FranciscoAbstract/session Submission is now open for the 56th Annual North American Meetings of the Regional Science Association International.

To register for the conference or submit an abstract online you must first login to the User Area. More details about registration methods are available by clicking here.

The NARSC abstract submission function on this website closes at 5 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (United States) on August 1st, 2009. Papers must be completed and delivered to designated session participants by October 30, 2009.

To request participation to the conference as a paper presenter, the following items need to be submitted:

  • Name of authors and their affiliations
  • Title of the proposed presentation
  • Abstract

To submit an organized session (discussion panel or paper session), the following items need to be submitted:

  • Session title, description, organizers, and discussants
  • For each presentation, author(s)’s name and affiliation, title, and abstract

Once notification has been received from the Program Chair of acceptance of a abstract or organized session, all participants are required to register and pay the conference registration fee within two weeks in order to confirm placement on the Program. In no case will a paper or session be included on the Preliminary Program posted on or around October 1 unless all relevant participants are registered. In the case of a paper submission, this means payment by at least one (presenting) author. In the case of an organized session, this means payment by at least one (presenting) author for each of the included papers in the session.
