Financing<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Reaching Regions<\/em> is seeking outreach-oriented submissions for a special issue on Tax Increment Financing (TIF).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Topics may include, but are not limited to, the following:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Improving the TIF evaluation and implementation process<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Political economy aspects of TIF implementation<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Impacts on overlapping jurisdictions, including school districts<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Citizen responses to TIF&nbsp;<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Legal aspects of TIF<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Policies to improve TIF accountability and transparency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Case studies on TIF implementation and outcomes<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>Deadline for submission to the special issue is <strong>February 15, 2026<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><em>Reaching Regions<\/em> is the official outreach journal of the North American Regional Science Council. <em>Reaching Regions<\/em> is open access, peer-reviewed, and publishes outreach articles&nbsp;targeted to non-academic audiences.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Articles should follow submission instructions and be submitted via the journal website:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.iastatedigitalpress.com\/rreg\/submissions\">https:\/\/www.iastatedigitalpress.com\/rreg\/submissions<\/a><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The consequences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>International migration causes and consequences<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>State and local public policy impacts on migration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Climate and environmental migration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Migration over the life course<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Human capital and migration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Job search and migration<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Other drivers of migration and
