RAND Europe’s fast growing and dynamic Innovation and Technology Policy team works with a broad range of public and private sector decision-makers to inform key decisions on science, technology, innovation, ICT and information policy in the UK, Europe and globally with objective research, advice and capacity building activities. Your primary role will be to undertake research and analysis on behalf of our clients. The ideal candidate has an outstanding academic record and, preferably, a PhD, proven methodological skills, writing skills and experience in policy research. Applicants will also have quantitative and qualitative skills broadly applicable to at least some of the following: innovation policy, the economics of innovation, industrial policy, economic analysis of growth and development and ICT policy. Fluency in English is essential. The post is based in our Cambridge office but may involve travel to Brussels and other locations nationally and internationally.
