3rd Regional Science Association of the Americas and the 5th SOCHER Annual Conference

The Regional Science Association of the Americas (RSAMERICAS) and the Sociedad Chilena de Estudios Regionales (SOCHER) invites researchers to send abstracts for contributed sessions and posters sessions at the 3rd Regional Science Association of the Americas (RSAMERICAS) and the 5th SOCHER annual conference to be held in Arica, Chile, 26-27-28 September 2013. The organizations committee also invites researchers, relevant institutions and organizations to organize special sessions at the conference.

We invite participants to submit contributions on all areas of regional science including any areas in the social science that has a spatial or regional dimension. The topics of the special sessions may include regional development issues in America, natural resources and regional development, trade and regional integration, regional labor market dynamics, inter-regional disparity, disaster management, the economics of border, methods and models in regional sciences, regional housing price, spatial econometrics and new perspectives of regional science.

30 June 2013: Early Bird Registration Due

15 July 2013: Full Paper Submission Due

30 July 2013: Paper Presenter Registration Due
